A Career in Optometry

So you recently had an eye exam. During the exam, you asked your doctor about a career in optometry. To your delight, it sounded pretty cool: You get to play with really cool gadgets, you play an important role in changing your patients lives while improving their vision, you’re not constantly on call like other healthcare workers. You are a clinician specializing in optical, binocular, pathological and pharmacological concepts of the human visual system. Oh, and did I mention the cool gadgets?
